Palisades Flag Star Oyster Ornament

This memorable oyster ornament can be used to decorate your Christmas tree, hung as knob decor on an armoire or door knob, or place this ornament in your home on a coffee table or bookcase to be used as a home decor throughout the year.

Each oyster shell is unique in size and has been hand decorated by Kellie herself with a decoupage-like method featuring beautiful, colorful designs. Finished with a water-resistant triple thick acrylic based shellac and accented with liquid gold leaf.

Not only can it be used tree ornament, but it also makes for beautiful table top decor or wall hanging.

Due to the natural variations in the oyster shells, each one is slightly different in size and shape, ranging from 2.5"-4." wide and tall. The placement of the design may also vary slightly to best fit the shell. As an artist, I strive to create the best decorated version of each

Please avoid submerging in water or using it for cooking or as a soap dish as it is not waterproof. To clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth and let it air dry. 

Original art for this design created to Sean Lim and Will Dintenfass.  In 2014 the Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce held a contest to create a design for a flag to hold as an official Pacific Palisades town flag.  Jake Steinfeld, Honorary Mayor of Pacific Palisades, presented Lim and Dintenfass with a award of $1,000 as winners of the design contest.  All information on this contest and the designers, Sean Lim and Will Dintenfass was sourced from the Palisadian-Post.
